Three Key Components for Real Marketing Success

We’ve been marketing consultants for many top companies and non-profit organizations for 30+ years. Very early on, it became clear to us that — when you strip it down and really examine it — there are really three key components to achieving and sustaining real success with your marketing efforts.

First, your product or service must stand out from the crowd in many ways and in every media as well as packaging and presentation.

Second, you have to connect with the target market. In order to do that you need to understand them, know what motivates them, what they like and don’t like,. Preferably you are one of the target market, and use the product or service your client offers, but at minimum, you need to talk with and survey them.

Third, you need to find a way to ignite their desire so it moves them to take the action you want — from going to your website for more information, to a request for a quote, a vote for you, a purchase and more.
